If you are an adult resident of the City of Buffalo experiencing the stressful effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may qualify for a study that uses Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to reduce stress and its effects on mental health and wellness.

The Mellowing Mind study at UB’s Center for Nursing Research is a paid research study of technology-based Mindfulness training programs for dealing with stress, worry, and other concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic in local communities heavily impacted by the pandemic. Participation involves an 8-9 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, using your smartphone or Zoom technology, and completing questionnaires and interviews.
